Hi there Drunken Fools!
2nd strip in a row with real inking. Sorry if it doesn’t really look that good. I’m learning to use old school tools without stopping the story andn the weekly strips.
Don’t forget to vote for the Elevator Pitch, see the blog below for details or vote on the right-column!
Cheers!

Previously on The Incredible Drunk…
Spike and Stubby were heading to Bob’s bar. Before getting inside, Stubby had a very bad feeling and had the impression somebody was watching them.
Once inside, they realized there was a drinking contest. Obviously Spike HAD to participate.
At the same time, Billy, who got his date canceled with his new girlfriend Sophie, was having all sort of problems trying to go out at the bar.
Spike lost that contest against Calvin (from Y2CL) while in fact, it was Stubby who took Calvin’s form in order to make a prank to Spike.
When Stubby took his original form, he got electrocuted from behind. A strange character is there, with a very strange gun in her hand.
The stranger was talking on the phone, and after a few minutes, everybody in the bar were out cold. And this stranger seems to have a specific goal with Spike.

Nice work on the perspective of the hand Antoine! The Zorter’s seen better days – so much for Beta!
Thanks man! I actually took a picture of myself in that position as a reference
Same with the panel of Billy getting Zortted.
Speaking of the Zortter, that one isn’t Beta
Can you believe they actually decided on these colors? Man, The board members of Bobana Corp has no taste
Just a question here: where the “drunken fools” come from, exactly? If they were named “the drunken frites-eaters” it would be clear that they are from Belgium. But if they are “drunken fools”…
Ha! Actually, we never really put a location. While in one frame, we can spot what looks like the Olympic Stadium in Montreal
But the name or title itself comes from the french version of the comic. “Guerlot” is actually my real life nickname (from my University days) and in french Canadian slang, it means drunk. The Comic title in French is “Une Gang de Guerlots” which means “a bunch of drunks”. I settled for Drunken Fools instead
I happen to be fluent in french (not native, but my girlfriend is), and I guess that the word doesn’t exist in Europe. I know, however, many slang words for “drunk” in french, that’s the first thing you learn when you start a relationship with the fabulous belgian beer.
Glad to know a new acception that I can use in french to say that I am completely drunk.
Thanks,
Daniel.
