“He’s no Good to me Drunk” – Bubba Fett
Here’s the latest entry in my new Series called “Drunk Heroes”.
While being a villain in Star Wars, Bobba Fett may ne a hero for a lot of people. Heck, he has his own Series with Dark Horse Comics!
Anyhow, let’s talk about “Bubba” a bit. While this nickname is pretty funny in the US, it has another meaning in Canada. Molson Breweries launched some of their beers in a 5L keg format a few years ago and they called the keg “Bubba”. Hence “Bubba” Fett and the Keg shaped helmet.

Antoine, this is awesome. Fett is one of my favorite characters, to see him like this is awesome.
I think Fett is one of those villains that folks want to know more about just because of his allegiance to know one but the highest payer. The back story of Fett would be amazing to see, I think. They have rumored to be in talks about a Bobba Fett movie. It would not be done by George Lucas, but I’m sure he’d have his hands in there more than we wanted; but to see him from that small child who picks up his fathers helmet and watch him grow to be one of the best Bounty Hunters in the galaxy would be awesome. We all know his fate at the Sarlacc, so it would also be a great way to see more of the expanded Star Wars universe. If Lucas spear heads it I may need Bubba Fett to sit next to so I can get a good buzz to make it thru the overly CGI’ed appraoch.
I honestly didn’t know Fett had his own comic book series, I’ll have to try to find some of those. Unfortunately I have no local comic shops so it’s off to the wonderful world of the Internet.
Well, did you know Fett actually survived the Sarlacc? That was part of batch of short stories in either “Tales from the Bounty Hunters” or “Tales from Jabba’s Palace” (which I both own and read a few times). These are standard books, paperback, available anywhere.
As far as the comics, here’s the entire list on Dark Horse’s website:

A lot of them are available on Amazon:

I have the Omnibus One. I would suggest to start with that. 400+ pages. The Most important issues are in it.
Sorry, I meant to reply to Todd
