Hi there Drunken Fools
Sunday night I had the honor of co-hosting the TGT Webcomics Podcast, hosted by my good friend and co-writer, Kurt Sasso.
I actually begged him to be the co-host that night since the Special Guest was Brian Anderson, one of my favorite Webcomic artist today and creator of Dog Eat Doug. It meant a lot to me to be able to co-host as Brian was the very first well established “webcomicker” who actually acknowledged my work and actually gave me feedback when I first started in 2008. That alone made me realize it was worth it for me to go ahead and keep doing it.
We had a blast during the podcast, and we covered a lot of stuff too, please make sure to listened to it! Filled with awesomeness!!
You can jump to the EP123- TGT Webcomic with Brain Anderson here!
Cheers!

Hello Drunken Fools!
The human race is filled with all kind of weirdos. Joey Chestnut is totally one of them.

Joey Chestnut, is the champion of… the Hot Dog eating contest, held last Sunday in New York. He actually ate 54 hot dogs in only 10 minutes.
Honestly, what a man can do to his body for a little moment of fame is beyond my imagination. Okay, he probably went backstage and forced himself to puke it all, but still, the human body is not meant to receive such a hard treatment. First our stomach has to receive all that quantity of food, and then, throwing all that food back can’t be that good for all the parts between your mouth and the stomach. Honestly, look at his face on the picture, don’t tell me he is enjoying himself.
I believe Joey Chestnut did that after a dare with friends, and he must have been drunk!
Cheers!
Good Day Drunken Fools!
I was sketching yesterday, under the heat, and ended up revamping Spike a little. I really like the end result and I feel my art is really evolving since I started to draw in 2008.
Now, the dilemma, current storyline:
The Fools are now a Long Form Comic and the current story may end up having 45-50 pages. My first feeling is to wait until the end of the story before applying the new design. Well, that is, IF Spike returns under his human form, of course
What do you think? In the past, it was easy to switch design as I was improving my art, I was doing short gags or stories.
Since I am planning a book for early 2011 and The current story will be the main story of the book, I still feel I shouldn’t change the style/design in the middle of it.
What do you think? What should I do?
Oh and… what do you think of the new design? lol

Cheers!
Antoine

Good morning Drunken Fools!
Okay, it’s been a while, maybe WAY too long and for this, I will never find the proper words to say how sorry I am.
I never really explained why I stopped drawing for the past 5 weeks. While I don’t really want to go deep in details, let’s just say that my dad has been fighting cancer since December. He went through 2 surgeries and 6 chemo treatments already. It has been really stressful on me and my family and at some point I needed the break to take care of my parents as much as I could.
Ok, end of story.
NOW.
WE’RE BAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!
Next Monday, I’ll start posting updates again, continuing the story. I have plans for early 2011 and I’ll need a lot of effort and support to achieve them.
Once again, sorry for the lack of updates or notes here, but pulling off the plug has been a great decision and my mind and body are now relaxed and I can start working on the strip again.
Thanks for all of those who emailed me and sent kind words through Twitter or Facebook. It means a lot to me.
On this, see ya next Monday with a brand new strip!!
PS: I’ll post a peek of next strip Tomorrow
Cheers!

Hi there Drunken Fools,
quick update, I am still busy taking care of family matters and still no strip for this week. I did manage to sketch two pages so hopefully, when I get back, i’ll only have inking and coloring to do.
In the meantime, enjoy my interview at C2E2 with Kurt Sasso from TGT Webcomics. I didn,t realy listen to it myself, I just can,t stand hearing my own voice in english….
Cheers!
Howdy Drunken Fools.
Family issues are calling me. meaning I will not be able to finalize my strips for the next 2 or 3 Mondays.
I am sorry for this and will do my best to come back and make it up to you.
I could bring my PC with me but it’s a pain and I dunno what my free time will look like.
I’ll have my script , pens and Paper with me, so at least I can sketch the strips. hey, maybe I will post them , would you like that?
Anyway, some peeps showed their support on the side and I appreciate it. At least, it is going in the right direction.
Note: I will be still active n Twitter, etc.. so
Cheers
Yo Drunken Fools!
Title says it all! What if Tony Stark still had a drinking problem after all these years?
Anyway, that was a fun sketch I did last weekend just before I went to Free Comic Book Day at The 4th Wall in Montreal. Fun time!
Enjoy!
Cheers,

Hey yo, Drunken Fools!
Yesterday I talked about the two main surprises related to my art/comic and how it gave me a little ego and motivational boost. If you haven’t read it yet, click here!
Today, PICTURES!! Later this week, Full report on What I learned from C2E2!
Enjoy the pics! Note, some of them are from either Dawn or Byron. Sometime I would tell Byron, just take it and send it to me
Of course, click on a thumbnail to see the full picture!
Hello Drunken Fools!
So, I was in Chicago last weekend for C2E2! I flew there VERY early Thursday morning and came back way too soon, Sunday.
First, my goal #1 at C2E2 was to enjoy myself. This year it was either the Carribean or Chicago for my vacation. Then, the other goal was to try to sneak and get more readers. Goal #1 was achieved at 120%! Goal #2, I guess I’ll see later
I’ll be doing 2 or 3 reports this week on my amazing time spent there. I would like to thank Byron (1977) and Dawn (Zorphbert & Fred). These two amazing superstars allowed me to get a space of table to put on Promo stuff for my comics, and for this I am extremely grateful to them. They are great people to hang out with. Who doesn’t spend time with an Old Fart and a Crazy Chick anyway?
Today’s report will be focusing on my two biggest surprises of the show:
Surprise #1: The Browncoats
Are you a Firefly/Serenity fan? If yes, then you probably know what a Brown Coat is. If not, well, a Brown Coat is the name of a Firefly/Serenity fan (like a trekkie to Star Trek). There is more to it, but I don’t want to expand on the Brown Coat Definition.
Friday night, after the first day at the con, I met these tattooed guys at the elevator of my hotel. One of them had a badge saying “Brown Coats 4 Ever”. Being a big Firefly fan myself, I started to talk with him. Soon enough, I learned they were in fact a Rock band named The Browncoats. He made me listen a song, which ended up being a rock version of “The Hero of Canton”, song featured in on Firefly episode. I love the song right away. The guys also were all excited with the fact I had my Drunken Fools T-Shirt, telling me they were a bunch of Drunken Fools themselves.
Saturday morning, I went to see these guys at their booth, they were all friendly and I bought their CD/DVD combo, being both a Brown Coat and a Music fan. Gary, the drummer and producer, wanted to see my stuff. So we headed back to Byron and Dawn’s booth where I had my bookmarks and magnets for promo. Gary liked so much the look of Spike drinking through the beer tap, that, after discussions, I will be drawing a drunk character that will be included on their next album’s cover, entitled “Drunk”. Isn’t that frikking cool?
Make sure to check out The Browncoats’ website, their music is actually great, I really liked it (note: if you like Stone Temple Pilots, you should like them)
Surprise #2: My old magnets
Remember this magnet design I did a while ago? Well, I was stuck with those at home and I didn’t want to use them anymore because I wasn’t sure if it was good to use and two characters may end up not being used yet (I dunno yet). Still, I brought them with me.
Well, to my surprise, they were a blast! I simply created an hilarious sales pitch to it, and people where laughing and grabbing one every time. I was simply telling people stuff like: “ you surely look like someone who would like to have four guys pissing on your fridge.” And I was just handing them over
So these were the Two major highlights, directly linked to my art for me this weekend (don’t forget I was there mainly for vacation and to have fun, I had not merchandise to sell)
Stay tuned for other reports and pictures later this week!
Cheers!

Woooooooooaaaa!
Okie, I got all excited today because I received my first very official Drunken Fools T-Shirt!
Check these out! Aren’t they great?
So, I ordered a batch for me for promo at C2E2. After I’m back, if you guys are interested, I may have a Pre-Order session and order a bigger batch of these. These are American Apparel T-Shirt (if you know the company, this is good quality) and the Print is made locally here, not one of these online crappy digital printing for T-Shirts.. This is High Quality Printing that lasts!
Note: the picture are not that good, so the colors are not exactly what they actually are, especially the cranberry one. It’s not Red, it’s a bit darker and looks awesome (it’s actually my favorite)
Olive:
So, would get one of these?
