Happy Tuesday Drunken Fools!
I did posted some sketches in the past but outside a regular schedule, they were usually random blogs.
So, starting today, every Tuesdays will be the Drunken Sketching Day. You can expect to have a sketch, strip related or not, every Tuesday!
Today is an idea that has a little bit of a background history. My friend Kurt, of TGT Webcomics, didn’t know how to pronounce my name in his podcast, he called me Anton, Anthony and any weird attempts. So since the correct way has a pronunciation in french that doesn’t really fits any English phonetics, the best way to pronounce it in English is “Ant-Wan”. When I told that to Kurt, he automatically started to call me Ant-Wan Kenobe, which we all have a good laugh since then.
Yesterday, we were talking and Kurt said to me, you should find a way to introduce Ant-Wan Kenobe to the comic. I did get a few ideas (which I will not reveal
) and today’s sketch is my first attempt on what Ant-Wan Kenobe would look like. Kurt as a great way to help me find ideas, remember Billy talking to a blender? That came from a conversation we both had once

Krishna from the PC Weenies and Uncubed suggested to us to wotk on our own version of the legendary pirate, Blackbeard.
Lucky enough I have a nice book on the history of Pirates and I’ve read a bit on him and been able to come up with this sketch. what do you think?

Hi there,
A new character will be introduced tomorrow. Her name is Sophie and I don’t know how big her role will be going forward in the strip. Since I don’t know that for sure, I decided to take the time to design her, who knows
Here’s a bunch of sketches and the final inking after.
Only question I would have is: does she fit with the style of the strip?
Let me know what you think!

Cheers!

Hola Drunken Fools!
Something I’m starting to learn when trying to be an artist, is I need to practice, and spend the time to do it.
So, today, I spent 1 hour and a half sketching hands in order for me to practice ( I should have started doing that a long time ago). I decided to share them with you!
Let me know what you think!
